REQUIREMENTS FOR CITIZENSHIP

Over 18 years old
5 years as a permanent resident (green card holder)
3 years if married to an American Citizen (they must be living and filing taxes together)

NECESSARY DOCUMENTS

Residence card and social security
Passport of the last 5 years
Address where you have lived, worked and studied for the past 5 years
Name and date of birth of your children (if they are residents bring the residence number in the green card)
Name, date of birth, address, social security number, residence or citizenship of your spouse (if your spouse was divorced you must also bring that information)
If you were divorced bring date of all divorces and marriages
Men 18-26 years of age must bring the registration of the selective military service, if they did not register and are already over 26 years old, they must make an affidavit explaining why they did not register.
If you have been arrested (for any reason) you must bring the provision for each of the arrests
Two passport-type (2×2) photos
Check or money order for Immigration of $ 725.00
The cost of the services at DMS is charged separately

DOCUMENTOS NECESARIOS

Tarjeta de residencia y seguro social
Pasaporte de los ultimo 5 años
Dirección donde ha vivido, trabajado, estudiado durante los últimos 5 años, y los últimos 5 años de impuestos.
Nombre y fecha de nacimiento de sus hijos (si son residentes traer el número de residencia)
Nombre, fecha de nacimiento, dirección, número de seguro social, residencia o ciudadanía de su conyugue (si su esposo/a fue divorciado también debe traer esa información)
Si usted fue divorciado/a traer fecha de todos los divorcios y matrimonios
Hombres de 18-26 años de edad deben traer la registración del servicio selectivo militar, si no se registró y ya es mayor de 26 años debe hacer una declaración jurada explicando porque no se registró.
Si ha sido arrestado/a (por cualquier razón) debe traer la disposición por cada uno de los arrestos
Dos fotos tipo pasaporte (2×2)
Cheque o money order para Inmigración de $ 725.00
El costo del Servicio en la Doctora se cobra por separado
